Learn a routine
Here is your chance to learn short and simple modern dance routine. Below are the counts and text for the movement.

Routine
Stand facing the back with legs apart (Intro)
1,2 Jump feet across and out
3 Isolate head to look at the front, slightly twisting your body
+4 Right shoulder isolation, lift and drop
5,6 Body ripple starting with the head and rolling through the spine into a sitting position
7,8 Place right foot behind left and back twist turn (spin towards back leg)
1.2.3.4 2 funky walks forwards right foot, then left foot. Notice that the body rebounds in between the walks. Counts are (walking on the counts 1 & 3)
5+6 Flick ball change – to do this step you flick the right foot slightly across the bodyline, bring it back to do a ‘ball change’ which is a transference of weight from the ball of the foot at the back (on your right foot) and replacing your weight onto the flat of the foot (on your left foot)
7,8 Squat down keeping knees in line with your toes, slide feet out to side with a feeling of pushing your arms down.
